Monroe, Utah – Daniel Adam Burch, 66, passed away February 17, 2012 at his home in Monroe from complications of Mesothelioma. Dan was born November 15, 1945 in Kanab to Robert Franklin and Elda Adams Burch.
He married Elaine Houston, their children are Troy Burch, Jeremy Burch, Christina Burch, and Tracy (Scott) Johnson.
He married Karen Christine Weber, June 16, 1990 in Mesquite, NV. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple May 6, 1994. Their children are, Danielle and Emily.
He was an avid outdoors man, riding horses, swimming in the lake, camping and telling stories. He loved to travel and drove all over the continental United States as a professional truck driver, sharing his wit and wisdom along the way.
In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by seven grandchildren; siblings, Joel (Jean) Burch, Darlene (David) Pierce, Yvonne (Larry) Cloward. Preceding him in death are his parents; siblings, Grant Burch, Robert Burch, Neal Burch, Bonnie Anderson, Ralph Burch, NayDean Burch, Eldon Burch and Betty Sue Burch.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Monroe 4 th LDS Ward Chapel, 50 East 200 North. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 and at the ward chapel in Monroe on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.
