Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, Cynthia Ann Gallegos Kennin, 48, passed away August 9, 2012 in Elsinore. She was born April 6, 1964 in Richfield to Orlando Gallegos and Linda Morrill Merchant. She married Larry Kennin, December 24, 2000 in Richfield.
Cyndi was a very loving person; her family being most important. She loved her grandchildren dearly, they were her pride and joy. She had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. She was active in the New Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed the association she had with the members.
Cyndi is survived by her husband, Larry; daughters: Karissa Christofferson (Jed LeFevre), Panguitch; Chynna (Trent) Rickenbach, Richfield; and DaNeira Kennin, Richfield; 2 grandchildren; mother, Linda Merchant, Elsinore; step-father, Gene Merchant, Elsinore; siblings, Teresa Gallegos, Elsinore; Shawn Gallegos, Richfield; Anthony (Sheri) Gallegos, Elsinore; Martin (LaRena) Gallegos, Elsinore; Matthew (Wesley) Gallegos, Elsinore.
Preceded in death by father; sister, Patricia Gallegos, grandparents: Melvin and Myrtle Morrill; brother, Carl Merchant; niece, Shadyann Gallegos.
Funeral services will be held, Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield. Friends may call the mortuary from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
