Curt E Mason

Curt E. Mason age 62, passed away at his home on August 5, 2020, just 9 weeks after being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Curt was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to wonderful parents, Ervin Mason and Kathryn Mallard Mason. He spent his childhood in Bountiful and St. George where he loved to swim and race moto cross. He lived many years in Utah County where he owned several concrete businesses.

Curt moved to Manti 21 years ago where he fell in love with the town and the people; he made Manti his forever home. Curt had a wealth of knowledge in history and the studying of space, but he found his true passion in researching genealogy and connecting with his ancestors. He loved to share all the amazing things that he found in genealogy, he also loved to share his testimony of Jesus Christ with others.

Curt will be deeply missed! He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Mason; mother, Kathryn Mason; sisters: Karrie and Jeff Clark, Tawnia and Michael Glidewell; children and step-children: Blake Davis, Blake and Mallory Walters, Amber Mason, Amilya and Colby Brown, Blake J. and Kaiya Allred, Jordan and Aleena Allred, Bridger Allred and Aimee Woolfey, Matthew Mason and Morgan Rohletter, and Noah Mason; along with 11 grandchildren. Curt is preceded in death by his father Ervin Mason, and brother, Scott Mason.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Manti City Cemetery. Friends and family may call prior to services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Magleby Mortuary, Manti.
