Connie Bailey Jepsen, 85, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2016, surrounded by her family at her home in Cedar City, Utah.
Connie was born November 8, 1930 in Escalante, Utah to Clive and Nellie Littlefield Bailey and was the first of three daughters. Raised in Escalante she attended elementary and high school there and remained a true friend staying in close contact with all her classmates.
Connie married her sweetheart, Alfred Henry Jepsen, on her birthday, November 8, 1950. They enjoyed a wonderful 65 years and 9 months together. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles temple in 1964.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Connie lived a life full of church service in numerous callings.
Connie is survived by her husband, Alfred; daughters: Shauna (Bryan) Bulloch and Tania Jepsen, both of Cedar City; Jeraldine (Doug) Childs, Lehi; son, Conrad Jepsen, Boulder, UT; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren with one due Dec 12 and 1 great-great grandchild due Feb 2, 2017.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Escalante 2nd Ward Chapel where friends may call from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Escalante Cemetery.
