Colton Hansen
Eagle Mountain, Utah
Colton Richard Hansen, 13, was called home with open arms to the his Heavenly Father on April 5, 2018. He was doing what he loved and that was riding his four wheeler at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes near Kanab. He was born on June 21, 2004 in Cedar City to Chet and Amy Christensen Hansen.
An 8th grader at Frontier Middle School, Colton was a member of the Archery Club and also on the high honor roll. He loved serving in the Church by performing his deacon duties, collecting fast offerings and passing the sacrament, serving his Heavenly Father.
Colton always had a smile. He was funny and loved to make everyone laugh. He was always willing to try new things. He loved camping and especially reading, riding his four wheeler, hiking, and spending time with his family. Everyday he took his dog, Sadie, for a walk.
He enjoyed spending time at Grandpa Randy’s cabin and going for pontoon boat rides on Big Lake. He also loved going to Kanab to spend time with his Grandpa and Grandma Hansen. They would go on hikes to see dinosaur tracks and he liked going to the hot air balloon festival. He always made time to go see his Great-grandma Hansen.
Colton is the big brother to Trevin, Tanner, Porter; and foster siblings: Bodie and Ivy. He was met in Heaven by his younger cousin, Logan Christensen. He is the grandson of Craig and Barbara Hansen, Kanab; and Randy and Donna Christensen, Richfield.
Colton always planned on serving a mission for the LDS Church. We know he is on a greater mission to bring souls to Christ. We will miss you, and we know we will see you again. Families are Forever.
