Cliff Hatch
Panguitch, Utah
Clifford Kent Hatch, 54, passed away February 28, 2015, after an extended illness at his home in Panguitch. He was born August 25, 1960 in Panguitch to Ortho Jon and Elsie Elizabeth Worthen Hatch.
Cliff loved to spend time in the outdoors, whether it was gathering wood, which he did as a profession, "wood hauler to the stars", hunting, picnicking, or simply going for a ride in the mountains to enjoy nature’s beauty.
He was best known for his old Ford trucks stacked high with wood, with one of his favorite dogs perched atop the stack.
Cliff enjoyed people; he had a friendly word for everyone. He always wore a smile, and so did you after visiting with him.
Even in his last pain filled days when you would ask him if there was anything you could do for him, he would say, " No, but what can I do for you?"
Cliff was not one to measure his life’s success in monetary worth, and his greatest treasures were his two kids, Brogon and Elcha.
He is survived by his children: Brogon Hatch, Elcha Hatch; mother; sister, Tammy (Neal) Barton; brother, Rob Hatch, all of Panguitch; sister, Corrie (Marty) Franklin, Phoenix, AZ; step-sons: Tug and Ty Burningham, Panguitch; step-brothers: Lance (Kathleen) Christensen and Cody (Kris) Christensen, both of Elsinore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father and step-mother, Judy Christensen.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2105, at 11:30 a.m. in the Pangutich 2 nd LDS Ward building, 160 North 400 East, in Panguitch, where friends may call from 10:00-11:00. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
