Cleva McInelly Swindle, 81, passed away quietly on, December 12, 2014 at her home in Payson. She was born August 27, 1933 in Escalante, Utah to Loral Jeston and Mary Ellen Heaps McInelly. She married Max Emil Swindle, June 27, 1956 in Mesquite, NV. The marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple.
She loved flowers and enjoyed being in her garden. She never let Max til and water the yard - it was her job. Later, when she couldn’t do the yard the way she like, the grandkids would come to help, with her supervision. She loved the time she was able to spend with them. Cleva also enjoyed sewing and cooking meals for family and close friends.
She was an active member of the LDS Church where she served diligently in the Relief Society.
She is survived by her mother, of Richfield; husband Max of Payson; children, Erwin Moosman of Escalante, Wade Moosman of Levan, Robert Swindle of Victorville, Ca, Ellen (Jeff) Kraus of Lake Havasu, AZ, and Wendy (Lance) Tanner of Santaquin; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Donna Rae Barker of Monroe, Douglas (Jeri) McInelly of Richfield, Lynn (Garna) McInelly of Beaver, Irene (Louis) Brown of Lindon and Valaree (Tobe) Davies of Aurora.
She is preceded in death by a son, Scott Swindle; her father, Loral McInelly and step-father Hyrum Coleman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in the Payson 16 th LDS Ward Chapel, 650 West 800 South in Payson, where friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:30. Burial will be at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon in the Monroe City Cemetery.
