"Uncle Brother"
Christopher Michael Stewart, 45, of Richfield, passed away suddenly from complications of a brain aneurysm, November 27, 2017 in Provo. He was born October 3, 1972 in Murray.
He grew up in Magna, Utah and graduated from Cyprus High School in 1991, then joined the Air Force. Chris worked as a fire fighter while stationed at Elmondorf AFB in Anchorage, AK. He has worked security at Snow Bird and at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City. His caring nature propelled him to became a CNA and at the time of his death, worked at the Richfield Care Center where he was known as "The Golden Boy of Avalon".
He enjoyed his family, the outdoors, video games, but above all, he was an avid Running Utes Fan. GO UTES!!!!
Surviving him is his fianceé, Clarissa Sifford; sons, Zachary Stewart, Tristan (Kalee) Bowles; daughter, Savanah Sifford; granddaughter, Lyla Bowles; parents, Michael & Paula Stewart; siblings: Debbie Mayo, Jennifer Anaya, Teena Adams, Brian Baker, April Turner; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Chad Mayo; grandparents: Deloy and Ina Stewart, Owen and Alice Warr, Thomas and Jean Jaramillo.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel in Richfield, where friends may call on Friday evening from 6 to 8 or on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery with military honors by the Hill Air Force Base Honor Guard. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
