Christopher J "Chris" Colby, 33, passed away November 22, 2015 in Salina. He was born April 30, 1982 in Payson to William J and Mary Diane Henrie Colby. He married Whitney Don Seely, August 12, 2006 in Mt. Pleasant. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple, March 10, 2010.
He loved being with his family. Chris loved everything the outdoors had to offer. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper. He was a certified diesel mechanic at SUFCO Mines. He has served in the Scouting program, the Young Single Adult program, a member of the Salina 1 st Ward Sunday School presidency and has served in the Elder’s Quorum.
Chris is survived by his wife, Whitney; and daughters: Kambrie Don and Gracie J; parents; siblings: Billy (Malia) Colby, Clint (Deb) Colby, Kim (Jace) Sorenson; parents-in-law: Donny and Karen Seely.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in the Salina 1 st LDS Ward Chapel, 400 North 100 West, where friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery.
