Christine Jean Scott Gardner, 73, passed away in Placentia, CA on January 8, 2021. She was born August 10, 1947 in Fullerton, CA to Marion Eugene and Catherine Theresa D’Amico Scott.  She married Athel Gardner on February 10, 1968 in the Los Angeles Temple.  Athel preceded her in death on February 10, 2017.

Survived by her children: Daniel (Lynne) Gardner, Perris, CA; Stephanie (John) Ayala, Placentia, CA; Benjamin Gardner, Sherman, TX; Rebecca (James) Craig, Celina, TX; Jennifer Kahl, Anaheim, CA; Catherine (Branden) Ford, Fort Jackson, SC; 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings: Marguerite (George) Amsden, Casper, WY; Robert (Faye) Scott, Anaheim, CA.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monroe 5th Ward Chapel, 140 South Main Street. Friends may call Monday evening from the 6-7 at the Magleby Mortuary, 50 South 100 West, Richfield or Tuesday morning at the ward chapel from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.  Live streaming of the services and online guestbook can be found at www.maglebymortuary.com under Chris’ obituary.  Due to COVID-19, all attendees are required to wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
