Larilla Charline Asay Rich, 82, of Ephraim, passed away March 8, 2024 at her home. Charline was born on January 23, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah when God sent one of his special children to Earth. Charline was known as a wanderer who loved to travel. She even called herself a gypsy. Charline was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many different callings; Relief Society president, Young Woman president, seminary teacher, various primary callings, sunday school teacher and scout leader. Those who she served loved her and to this day many stay in contact with her. She worked various occupations throughout her life including: school substitute teacher, school librarian, and administrative assistant. Survived by her children: Vern (Becky) Morris, of Tooele; Rick Gibson, Sonora, CA; Sherri Gibson, Sonora, CA; Linda (Cody) Flitton, Chester. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and siblings: Fred, Darline, LaVerne and Donald. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Meryl Asay and husband, Ralph Rich. Our mother was an angel in life and is now an angel in death. Rest now mom, we love you. Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Magleby Mortuary, Manti from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Cremation services will be held and memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in the Ephraim Stake Center, 400 East Center Street.
