    Our beloved mother, grandma, sister and friend,  Charlene Larsen McCutcheon age 83 of Manti, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 22, 2023. Charlene was born October 14, 1939, in Mesa, Arizona to Peter Fielding Larsen and Emma Belle Tenney.  She was the 2nd of 4 siblings: Don, Jean Marie and Ernest.  
    On July 14, 1958 Charlene married her sweetheart, Jerry Wayne McCutcheon, in the Mesa Arizona Temple.  They raised 7 children: Sue Ann, Cheryl Lynn, Brenda Kay, Debbie Gaye, Shawn Wayne, James Ross and Diane Marie. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2019.
    She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She loved her Savior and enjoyed studying and reading her scriptures daily.  She was always willing to serve and loved being in the temple where she was a temple ordnance worker.  She demonstrated her faith through a life spent giving hours of selfless service in many callings.  Working in the Manti Temple was one of the highlights of her life she loved church history and doing genealogy. 
    Charlene was known for her genuine love for people. There is not one family member or person who knew her, that was not affected by her love and kindness.  She loved to serve others.  It was her whole world.   Very artistic, she was always creating something, giving her time and talents to help others.
    Charlene is survived by her children: Sue Ann Hagelstein, Cheryl Lynn Varga, Brenda Kay (Steve) Weener, Debra Gaye (Gabe) Shupe, Shawn Wayne McCutcheon, James Ross (Julie) McCutcheon and Diane Marie (Philip Robert) Anthony; 31 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ernest Larsen and Jean Marie Rolfson. 
    Preceded was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Don Larsen.
    Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11:30 am in the Manti 4th  Ward, where friends may come from 10:00 -11:00 am.
