Catherine Mary Williams Thorpe, 97, of Junction, died Saturday evening on February 6, 2016, peacefully in Panguitch, UT, at Garfield Memorial long term care. She was born to Walter and Mary McCarty Williams, August 7,1918, in Flagstaff, AZ. She resided and worked for many years as a secretary for Convair in San Diego, CA.
She married Harold M. Thorpe in 1978 in San Diego and they moved to Junction, Utah living out the remainder of their lives. He preceded her in death. Catherine was a loving wife to Harold for 29 years. They enjoyed their beautiful surroundings in Junction and the community in which they lived.
Catherine is survived by children: John & Laurie Thorpe, Tehachapi, CA; and Larry & Linda Hess, Bend, OR; along with 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Catholic Church in Panguitch, Utah. Burial will be in the Junction cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
