Carolyn Davis, 79, of Richfield, passed away on June 16, 2014 in Richfield, Utah. Carolyn was born in Lehi, Utah on June 6, 1935 to Adolphus and Thelma May Petersen Pulley.
Carolyn was raised and educated in American Fork, Utah. She enjoyed being a member of the American Fork High School band and attending Girls State. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served as an organist since age 13. Carolyn married her high school sweetheart, Earl W. Davis on August 10, 1953 in Ely, Nevada Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple on August 27, 1978.
Carolyn was a member of the P.B.W. and Women’s Jeep Posse. She was a business owner of an embroidery store and worked for 27 years as an assistant manager at Sprouse Reitz. Carolyn enjoyed boating, camping and exploring the red rock and desert country of Utah. Most of all Carolyn enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Davis of Richfield; daughters, Norma (Allen) Christensen and Mandy (Jarvis) Bills both of Richfield; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings; Marilyn Bishop, Salt Lake City; Ronnie (Debbie) Pulley, Lindon; Julie James, Provo and Paul (Denise) Pulley, Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, where friends may call on Friday, from 6-8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:30-12:30. Interment will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
