Carol C. Stoker
Richfield, Utah
Carol Coons Stoker, 99, passed away December 15, 2017 in Richfield. She was born October 18, 1918 in Richfield to Vera Nay and Adrian "Doc’ Nelson. She was a graduate of Richfield High School and except for brief periods in Salt Lake City and Aurora, Carol lived her entire life in Richfield. She served in numerous capacities in the LDS Church, was a descendant of the settlers of Richfield and was member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Camp Josephine. She worked at Sevier Valley Hospital, Sevier School and Office Supply and Petrolane Gas Co.
In 1939 Carol married Harold Coons, their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Harold preceded her in death in 1975. Carol later married Lester Stoker, who has also preceded her in death.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Valerie Hodgson; son-in-law, David Madsen and daughter-in-law, Vicki Coons; Lester’s children: Bonnie (Gail) Liddiard, Andrea (Koze) Hallows and Wayne (Diane) Stoker. She considered herself blessed by her beloved Coons and Stoker families including her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death are children: Richard, Donald, Diane and Steven.
