Carol Nephi Savage, 82, of Henderson, NV and Antimony, UT, passed away June 8, 2017 in Henderson. He was born September 29, 1934 in Richfield, UT to Alma Savage Jr. and Ethel Adell Thompson. He married Sandra Smoot on November 6, 1953 in Marysvale, UT. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on June 7, 1955.
Carol’s early years were spent in Antimony, farming and ranching. He moved his family to Henderson in 1965. Later he and Sandra moved to St. George, UT.
An active member of the LDS Church, Carol served in many capacities including temple ordinance worker.
He is survived by his 4 sons: Samuel H. (Laura) Savage, Jeffrey A. (Barbara) Savage, L. Paul (Carrie) Savage, Joseph C. Savage; and son-in-law, Fred Sadeghi, 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; sisters: Kathleen Snow, Donna (Pete) Perry.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra; daughter Teri Sadeghi.
Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Antimony, Utah Cemetery.
