Our loving mother, Carol Virginia Kendrick Daum, 71, passed away April 21, 2013 in Centerfield. Mom was born June 21, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to William Witt and Mildred Virginia Curtis Kendrick. She married Irvin John Daum, June 24, 1961 in Lansing, IL He preceded her in death April 7, 2002. They are finally back together again.
Mom loved arts and crafts, word searches, cross-stitch, playing Bingo at the care center and camping. Every grandchild had a cross-stitched quilt made by Grandma Daum. Her hands were never idle. Her family was everything to her. She will be greatly missed.
Mom is survived by her children: Reneé (Roy) Moon, Shipshewana, IN; James E (Tammy) Daum, Wakarusa, IN; John F (Daniela) Daum, Ft. Sill, OK; Michael L. (Carol) Daum, Windsor, Ontario, Canada; Michelle (P. Keller) Christenson, Gunnison, UT; Jeanine (Will) Antley, Norfolk, VA; 22 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother, William Witt Kendrick, CA.
Also preceded in death by parents; step-father, James E. Dooley; granddaughter, MistyLynn and great-granddaughter, Audrey.
Cremation services have been held. Memorial services will be held, Monday, April 29, 2013 in Elkhart, Indiana. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
