Carol Barney Creel, 85 of Elsinore, passed away August 7, 2016 in Richfield. She was born August 6, 1931 in Elsinore to Vird LeGrande and Verla Mae Bone Barney. She married Earl Grey Creel in Elsinore, he preceded her in death in 1958.
Where Carol was widowed at a young age, she raised her two children on her own and also assisted in taking care of her parents. She supported her family working in the cosmetic field eventually retiring as a regional sales representative for Jafra Cosmetics. She was highly thought of by the many representatives she trained in her sales region.
She was a member of the LDS Church, where she taught in the Primary and the Young Women’s organizations.
Carol is survived by children: Stanton E. Creel, Coco Beach, FL; and Sandra Harrison, Shelton, WA; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; siblings: Elaine Conder, Lewiston, ID; Reed Barney, Springville; Nolan Barney, Mapleton.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 in the Monroe City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
