     Buelah Siler Christensen, 93, of Murray and formerly of Ephraim, passed away on July 5, 2024 at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.
     Buelah was born on September 28, 1930 in Fairview to Buel and Irene Howarth Siler. She married Richard “Dick” R. Christensen on February 24, 1954 in Las Vegas, NV. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Dick and Buelah made their home in Ephraim where they raised their two children: Chuck and Kelly. They had a large farm where they raised sheep and hay for many years. They shared many wonderful years together before Dick passed away in January 2011. After Dick’s passing Buelah moved to Murray to be closer to her children.  
     Buelah had a passion for gardening; she had a beautiful yard and home which were her pride and joy. She looked forward every spring to planting flowers and watching them grow all summer. Buelah loved watching NBA games, especially the Utah Jazz. She was a great shopper and enjoyed doing this every week with her daughter and best friend Kelly.  
     Buelah is survived by her two children: Charles (Darla) Hansen, Kelly (Mike) Huyette; sister, Donna Rasmussen; grandchildren: Tyler Huyette, Tiffany (Jordan) Cross, Kelly (Mitch) Cox, Jake Thayne; great-grandchildren: Brenlee Thayne, Jacksen Thayne, Katie Cox, Jonathan Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; siblings: Virginia, Linda, Nevada, Lamar; and lamanite daughter, Karen Pinto.
