    E. Bruce Smith, 89, of Circleville, returned home to his Heavenly Father on December 25, 2022 in Richfield, after suffering from a fall. Bruce was born on April 14, 1933 to Lionel Earl Smith and Reva Fullmer. In this earthly life he was blessed to be a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.      
    Bruce married his sweetheart Rachel Morgan on June 2, 1952 in the Manti Temple. He was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings throughout the years. He had a strong testimony of the gospel, which was evident by the way he lived his life.  
    Bruce was one-of-a-kind, and one of the last remaining “real” cowboys around. He never met a stranger, and influenced many people throughout his life. His second greatest love aside from his family was his farm, cows, and horses. Through his example he taught all his posterity the value of hard work and perseverance. His home and heart always welcomed any that stopped by. He will be missed by many.  
    Bruce is survived by his wife,  Rachel of Circleville; children: Todd (Leslie) Smith, Circleville; Jennifer (Dan) Bevan, Ephraim; sister, Valeria King, Antimony; sister-in-law,  Marlynn Smith, Cedar City; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
    Preceded in death by parents; brothers:  David “Buzz” (Eloise) Smith, Connell Smith; brother-in-law,  Eugene King; and son-in-law, Dr. Charles Yardley. 
    Funeral services will be Friday, December 30, 2022 in the Circleville Ward Chapel at 12:00 Noon. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-7 pm and Friday from 10-11:30 am. Interment will be in the Circleville Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
