Brian Clark Butler, 60, of Manti, passed away on April 25, 2024. He was born on June 28, 1963 to Willard Clark and Linda Ann Christensen Butler of Deweyville, Utah. Brian graduated from Bear River High School in 1982. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Portland Oregon area. Brian graduated with an associates in accounting from Stevens Henagar in 1984. Brian married Dana Cox and they were sealed in the Manti Temple on October 4, 1996. Together they have three children: Kenyon, David and Alexandria “Alex” Butler, of Manti. Brian worked for 21 years at Kent’s Market in Tremonton and Ephraim and 15 years for Sanpete County Jail in Manti. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, gardening and watching cartoons. Brian loved building things and teaching his boys new skills. He is survived by his wife Dana; and their children: Kenyon, David and Alex; siblings: Thain (Kathy) Butler, Malinda Butler, Greg (Heather) Butler, Brice (LaDonna) Butler, Sene (Bruce) Snook, and Conley (Frankie) Butler; father and mother in-law, David and Kathy Cox; along with many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Manti 4th ward (Tabernacle) 100 South Main Street, Manti. Viewings will be held at the church on Friday May 3, from 6-7 p.m. and prior to services Saturday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Manti City Cemetery.
