Brenton LaVar "Red" Walker, Sr., 83, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Monroe Canyon Assisted Living in Monroe. Red was born May 26, 1928 in Farmington, Utah, the son of Hyrum and Romela Elliott Walker.
Red was an avid fisherman and he loved to hunt. He loved spending time in the great outdoors and gardening.
He is survived by his children: Brenton L Walker, Jr., Salt Lake City; John F. Walker, Anchorage AK; Ronald H. Walker, Oconomowoc, WI; David G. (Terri) Walker, Palmer, AK; William P. (Donna) Walker, Palmer, AK; James L. (Deborah) Walker, Monroe; Jennie L.(Wade) Brow, McMillan, MI; sister, Glenda (Dick) Crebs, Holiday; sister-in-law, Lita Walker, CA; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: 1 st wife, Patricia Dean Marteeny; 2 nd wife, Audrey Walker; daughter, Marilee Robertson; brother, Raymond; sisters, Wynona Hammond and Josephine Gay Swain .

Graveside services and interment will be Friday, July 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Monroe Cemetery with military rites by the Monroe American Legion, Post #37. Friends may call Friday from 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary, 50 South 100 West, Richfield. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
