Brenda McArthur, age 65, passed away peacefully in her home in St. George on July 2, 2018, with her children close by. She was born November 11, 1952 in Salt Lake City to Dee and Darlene Jolley Edmunds. She was a 1971 graduate of Jordan High School. On April 10, 1981, she married her best friend, Lynn McArthur. Together they raised 4 children: Brandon, Justin, Tiffannie, and Staci. He preceded her in death July 11, 2012.

Although, Brenda spent the majority of her career life working in various positions at the LDS Church offices, she took the greatest pride in her duties as a loving wife and mother. She found joy in so many things and some of her favorite talents were writing poetry, playing the piano, and quilting. Brenda had a heart of gold and could light up any room with her humor and laughter. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and her kindness touched the lives of so many.

She is survived by her children: Brandon (Diane) McArthur, Justin (Crystal) McArthur, Tiffannie (Travis) Mabery, and Staci (Sean) Carr; 14 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter; siblings: Karl (Bev) Edmunds, Artie (Susan) Edmunds, Brent (Christie) Edmunds, Pauline Miller. Also preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services in her honor will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Wales Utah LDS Chapel, 92 S 200 W., where friends may call from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Wales Cemetery.
