Bonnie Hyatt Oldroyd, 90, passed away July 17, 2020 in St. George. She was born November 27, 1929 in Richfield to Heber and Laura Webb Hyatt. She married Larry R. Oldroyd on August 25, 1949 in Richfield. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2005.

Bonnie was a very artistic person—her especially enjoyed oil painting. She designed and built quaking aspen furniture: beds, dressers, night stands. She also designed and built the staircase at the cabin. The cabin was her favorite place—but she was always fussing and worrying about keeping the cabin maintained and what project for the cabin would be next.

A lover of roses, Bonnie had a magnificent rose garden that gave her a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment. It got her outside everyday keeping them at their prime.

Bonnie is survived by her children: Bonnie Jean (John) Offutt, Richfield; Steve L. (Lori) Oldroyd, Vernal; Joyce (Dell) Johnson, Vernal; Dan H (Lacee) Oldroyd, St. George; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Phil (Carol) Hyatt.
