Bonnie Jean Deines Lund, 89, passed away August 10, 2016 in Centerfield, Utah. She was born February 6, 1927 in Kansas City, Kansas to Edward Alexander and Jessie Elizabeth Sutherland. She married George Gray in May 1951 in Greeley, Colorado. They later divorced. She married Clyde Lund July 17, 1976 in Yellowstone, Montana. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2001.
Bonnie loved life. She belonged to a close-knit family and raised her family the same way, which meant getting together on weekends and for holidays to enjoy time together. She loved playing cards with family and friends. She attended the Peace Mennonite Church of Aurora, Colorado.
Bonnie is survived by her children: Stephen Glen Gray, Laurel, MT; Pennie Allen, Redmond, UT; 7 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren; siblings: Edna (Duayne) Pilkington, Ernest (Norma) Deines.
She is also preceded in death by her parents and siblings: John (Patsy) Deines, Maxine (Carlence) Smith, Ralph (Fern) Deines, Glen (Nancy) Deines.
At Bonnie’s request, cremation services have been held. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Platteville Mizpa Cemetery in Platteville, Colorado. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
