August 13, 1965 — February 13, 2013

Blane Kerby Parker, age 47, passed away February 13, 2013 in a traffic accident. He was born on August 13, 1965 in Richfield, Utah to Rulen Kerby and Bonnie Lou Hansen Parker. His mother died when he was 8 months old and his father later married Mary Ann Roscher. Blane married his sweet heart LaVona Lynn Carter, May 26, 1984 and they were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti LDS Temple, June 3, 1995.

Work took Blane and his family all over Utah and Nevada until they settled in Lake Elsinore, California in 1988 where he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic. In 2004 he was blessed with the opportunity of owning his own business in Fontana, California. Blane was a loyal, hardworking businessman, whose tenacity allowed him to solve any problem customers brought to him. His drive and dedication turned Blane's Equipment Repair, Inc., into a successful company that his two sons will proudly carry on his legacy with in the heavy equipment repair industry.

Blane was a loving father and husband who was well known for his generosity and willingness to help those around him. He had an infectious laugh that could be recognized anywhere. He had a great love for life and enjoyed many things including boating, camping, hunting, and being in the mountains. He worked hard so that he could enjoy his passions with his family. He was able to take hunting trips to Canada, Alaska and Africa. He was an active member of the LDS church and served in his callings willingly.

Blane's greatest joy and love was his family. He was so proud of his children and all of their accomplishments. He loved his grandbabies "June Bug" and "Little Man". He was the patriarch and rock of his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved Him.

Blane is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, LaVona Carter; 2 sons Joshua (Stephanie) and Kaden; daughter Shanna; 2 beautiful grandchildren Emma June and Liam; dad and mom, Kerby and Mary Ann; brothers, John (Brenda) Roscher; Preston (Joelle) Parker; sisters, Beth Ann Roscher, Valerie (Jeff) Koyle.
