Beverly Ann Warner Penney, 88, of Richfield, passed away October 25, 2016 in Richfield. She was born March 7, 1928 in Fillmore to Franklin Morgan and Katherine Keaton Carling Warner. She married John Dewey Penney, August 25, 1944 in Fillmore. He preceded her in death May 31, 2005.
Beverly enjoyed being a "stay-at-home" mom. She spoiled her kids, and grandkids. She was her husband’s favorite trapping partner. She enjoyed going with the family hunting and fishing and going out to eat. She taught in the Primary and the Relief Society.
She is survived by children: Frankie Penney, Central Valley; Camille Syddall, Richfield; Shauna (Tim) Morrison, Provo; Doug (Diana) Penney, Salt Lake City; and Pat (Kevan) Okerlund, Lyman; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; son-in-law, Kent Syddall; grandsons: Keith Ray Morrison, Kasey Lee Cowley, Derek Grant Cowley; siblings: Leland, Ladd, Lloyd, Harold, Farrell, Carl, Fern, Faun, Bertha.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Richfield Chapel where friends may call on Friday evening from 6 to 8 or on Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
