Beverley June Lowry, 67, of Manti, passed away January 18, 2024 peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 29, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George Glenn and Patricia Lavon Shelley Peterson.
Beverley graduated from South Jordan High School and attended BYU for a short time. She managed several 7-Eleven convenient stores throughout the Salt Lake valley. She married her sweetheart, Terry Duane Lowry on January 16, 1976. They have 2 children: Candice Bruce and Cody Lowry; grandchildren: Hayden and Oakleigh Bruce; Memorie and Scotland Lowry.
Along with her husband, Beverley owned and operated the Sanpete County BMX Foundation. She also organized the Highland Cycles and Canyon Cycles Foundations. Beverley worked as a pharmacy tech for the Holy Cross Hospital. She was active in Texas Holdem Poker Tournaments for many years. People knew her as a loyal friend and listening ear.
She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and sisters, Christine and Joann. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kathy; brothers, Mark and Eddie Peterson.
Graveside services and Interment will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Manti City Cemetery.
