Beverly Crosby

Beverly Roe Crosby, 91, passed away on January 17, 2019 in Panguitch, Utah. She was born December 18, 1927 in Richfield to John Wilford and Ruby Jemima Montague Roe. She married Arthur Glen Crosby November 29, 1946 in Panguitch, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized February 27, 1965 in the St. George LDS Temple. He preceded her in death December 15, 2008.

Mom loved to cook and make candy. She made the best peanut brittle and peanut butter fudge, and loved to share it. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and loved her "sister trips." She worked at the Garfield Memorial Hospital for many years. Family was everything to mom and she showed it with unconditional love that she gave to everyone.

Beverly is survived by her children: William A. (Maridon) Crosby, Hurricane; Kathleen (Edward) Ping, Eagar, AZ; Gayleen Burdick, Panguitch; Stephen R. (Denise) Crosby, Logan; Cherie (Kelly) Wood, Minersville; Sharlene (Kiley) McCall, Pocatello, ID. Beverly is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Roe, Smithfield; and sister, Ardith Davis, Panguitch.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Glen (Tonja) Crosby; son-in-law, John Burdick; brother, Earl Roe; and sisters, Winona Sevy and Thais Griffin.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 12:00 Noon in the Panguitch 2nd Ward Chapel, 200 N 400 E. Visitations will be held Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 pm and Wednesday from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Garfield Nursing Home for the kind and loving care they have given Mom over the past 3 years.
