Betty Louise Wharton Magleby passed away January 11, 2025 in St. George. She was born January 30 1937 in Galt, California, daughter of Albert and Margaret Wharton. 

She married Doug Foulger, together they had 4 children. They moved to Monroe Utah in 1971, they later divorced. She married Bert Magleby later divorced. 

While living in Monroe she worked at the Monroe Market for many years. She then moved to Salt Lake City and pursued a nursing career where she received her RN degree and worked as a nurse at care centers until she retired at the age of 69. Betty loved her kids and grandkids and enjoyed visiting with each of them. She had a love for all animals and was often seen with a dog or kitty on her lap. She enjoyed working in her yard and made it a beautiful place. 

She is survived by her children: Steve (Susan) Foulger, St George; Janeen (Rob) Wursten, Mesquite, NV; Norman (Shiree) Foulger, West Jordan; son-in-law, Don Perry Miami, FL; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. 

Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Diane Perry; grandson, Jared Foulger; and 3 brothers. 

Funeral services will be held January 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel in Richfield. Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery.
