Betty Fleming

Betty Ann Byler Fleming, 93, our much loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away quietly on Oct 11, 2021, her birthday. Betty was born in Los Angeles, California in 1928.
Betty attended Dorsey High School in California graduating in 1946. She also attended Los Angeles City College where she met Jesse C Fleming. They were soon married and then welcomed their children, Jim, Bill, Don, Steve and Jill into the family. Over the years she lived in Daggett California, Walnut Creek California, Boring Oregon, Las Vegas Nevada, Meridian Idaho and Highland Utah.
Betty was a proud and successful real estate agent in California but mostly loved being a grand mother. She loved to travel and visited many beautiful places in the US and around the world. She loved to travel to visit her children, grandchildren and friends wherever they may be.
Betty was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings in church service, including as a Full-Time senior missionary in the Birmingham England Mission.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Jesse in 2000. Betty and Jess were married for Time and all eternity and were married for 53 years on this earth. They had five children, Jim (Patti) Fleming, Bill (deceased), Don Fleming, Steve (Phyllis) Fleming, and Jill Fleming (David) Kalmar. Overall she had 13 grandchildren and 22+ great-grandchildren.
Betty is also survived by her siblings Tony Byler, Barbie Gillum and Mary Harris.
A memorial service will be held at the Spring City LDS Chapel in Spring City Utah on Oct 22, 2021 at 1100hrs. She will be interred with Jesse.
