Beth Wogan

August 20, 1930 — July 10, 2014

Thursday evening on July 10, 2014, the Lord called Beth Wogan to Glory to be with Him. She passed away in Buhl, Idaho. She was born Beth Elmer, August 20, 1930, to Julia Dutton Elmer and Ira Elmer in Cannonville, Utah. Beth lived in Cannonville until 1948, when she married Ephaim Twitchell. They lived in Antimony, Utah and raised nine children. They later divorced and Beth married Paul Wogan of Silverton,CO. They then moved back to Cannonville. After Paul's death, Beth moved to Idaho then Utah and back to Idaho. Beth always wanted to be in Cannonville, even mentioning moving back up to the very end.

Beth was a faithful member of the LDS Church, formerly active in the Relief Society and a visiting teacher. She loved quilting and embroidering and was a collector of various curio sets. Most of all Beth loved and enjoyed the company of her family: brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her great-great-grandchild.

She is survived by her children: Elizabeth Sherman, Marie (John) Kenitzki, Danny (Shirley) Twitchell, Francis (David) Johnson, Kendall (Laurie) Twitchell, June (Mark) Spitz , Nancy (Jay) Petersen; 26 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers: Lamar Elmer and John (Arlene) Elmer; sisters: Virginia Moosman and Theora (Jerry) Mangum; step-children: Gary (Vicky) Wogan, Sherry (Charles) Folkes, Tamera (Todd) Vidrene.

Beth is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her parents; sons: Howard Twitchell and Ira Twitchell; stepson, Bryant Wogan; sons-in-law: Dale Sherman and Bill Senn; brothers: Howard (Barbara) Elmer, Lyle (Lavina) Elmer, and Jimmy (Velma) Elmer.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South, 100 West, Richfield, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in Cannonville Cemetery.
