Beth Cottam Smith, 89, passed away April 19, 2015 in Panguitch.  She was born December 3, 1925 in Escalante to Victor Ellis and Euzell Roundy Cottam.  She married Wells Tilman Woolsey, he preceded her in death.
She married Glover Kenyon Smith, October 7, 1966 in Las Vegas, NV.  The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Utah Temple.  He preceded her in death August 15, 1996.
Most of her time was spent raising a large garden and tending flowers that surrounded her home.  She loved being with her family, gathering fire wood, Eastering on the desert and time at the sheep camp.
She spent many years as a waitress and visited with people from all over the world when they came to see the wonders along  Hwy 12.
Beth is survived by children: Vickey, Robert, Weldo, Linda, Jimmy; step-children: Harlan, Danny; many grand and great-grandchildren; sister, Diane Marth.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers and 2 sisters; step-son, Elmer Max.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Escalante LDS Stake Center, where friends may call on Saturday from 11:30 to 12:30.  Burial will be in the Escalante Cemetery.  Funeral Directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.  Online guestbook www.maglebymortuary.com
