Beth Aleen Brown Nay, 91, passed away January 2, 2015 in Richfield with her family by her side. She was born south of Monroe in "Monkey Town" on August 18, 1923 to Boyd E. and Susan Reta Jones Brown.
Beth married Duane Foster Nay, July 21 1943, at the family home south of Monroe. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. He preceded her in death May 26, 2011.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many ward and stake callings. She was a member of the Monroe Literose Club and the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Beth worked with her husband at Nay Equipment Company as the business manager for 32 years. She and Duane traveled and made many great friends. Some of the best memories the family have is on the houseboat at Lake Powell.
She is survived by her children: Michael (Wendie) Nay of Richfield, Marc (Nadine) Nay of Central Valley, Kristine (Jeff) Conder of St. George; 11 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; 5great-great-grandchildren; brother, Boyd L. (Lola) Brown of Centerville; brother-in-law, Walt Gardner of Provo.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Venice (Richard) Bell; Barbara Gardner.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West in Richfield, where friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.
The family extends their thanks and gratitude to the doctors and the staff of the Richfield Care Center for the loving care they have given to mom during her stay.
