Beth Larson

November 27, 1926 — December 30, 2013

Our sweet loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Beth Nebeker Larson, 87, passed away peacefully December 30, 2013 in St. George, Utah. She was born and raised in Newton, Utah and graduated from North Cache High School in 1945. After graduation she moved to Salt Lake City where she met and married the love of her life, James Larson. They were married May 15, 1946, sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, and enjoyed 67 years together.

Beth’s family was her greatest joy and her faith her greatest anchor. She loved family gatherings and enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for those occasions. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served faithfully in many callings including the Primary, Sunday School and as Relief Society president. She was a wonderfully sweet wife, mother, and grandmother—always smiling, quick to laugh, ever patient, never complaining, and full of love, faith, and optimism. She has left a legacy of love, goodness and faith for all those who were touched by her pure heart.

She is survived by her husband, James; children: Greg (Maya) Larson, Perry Larson, Margo Jacobson, Mitzi (Roy) Beard, Ronda (Randy) Snow, Dirk (Amy) Larson, Jodi (Russ) Garza; 26 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen (Sherman) Lundgreen.
