Bernet Lund McDonald, 93, of Marysvale, Utah passed away August 15, 2017 in Richfield. She was born July 31, 1924 in Marysvale to Bert Glen and Mary Julia Wilson Lund. She married Herbert James McDonald, December 21, 1941 in Marysvale. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death, August 4, 1971.
Bernet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was an avid quilter, she enjoyed the Utah Jazz and was a life long member of the DUP. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving faithfully where ever she was called.
She is survived by her children: Lorraine Wilkin, Marysvale; Edward (Sandy) McDonald, Helena, MT; George (Diana) McDonald, Salt lake City; Herb (Tami) McDonald, Pleasant View; 18 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Rosalie Peterson, Marysvale.
In addition to her parents and husband, also preceding her in death is a son, Steven McDonald; granddaughter, Stephanie; siblings: Benjamin, Delma, Bert, Leora and Berta.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Marysvale LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for visitation on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Thompsonville Cemetery.
