Barry Peter "Bear" Peterson

Barry Peter "Bear" Peterson, 62, of St. George, died Sunday May 29, 2011 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, after complications from battling cancer.
Barry was born February 17, 1949 to Pericson and Tola Peterson of Redmond/St. George. He was a "big guy" with a big heart!
Barry had a great sense of humor and could always make everyone smile with his jokes and faces. He enjoyed playing cards, scrabble and cribbage with family and friends. He loved riding his motor cycle and could often be seen dressed in his leathers riding.
Barry is survived by his three amazing children whom he adored: Lisa (Shawn) Adamson, Bountiful; Mike (Rachel Bishop) Peterson, Bountiful; and Aaron (Brittney) Peterson, Riverton; his five grandsons whom he loved and was very proud of: Johnny, Matthew, Keaola, Keaden and Gavin; mother, Tola Peterson, St.George; sisters, Kola Peterson, Aurora; Fran (Mitch) Mickelsen, Salina; Sheila Peterson, Poctatello, Id; and many nieces and nephews who will miss him greatly.
He is preceded in death by his father, Pericson Peterson; brother Kim Peterson; daughter-in-law, Kenna Peterson.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, where friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12 Noon. Interment will be at the Redmond Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
