Barbara Bowcutt Vest, 85, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019 in Centerfield, Utah. She was born on September 2, 1934 in Preston, ID to Joseph and Beth Macfarlane Bowcutt. In 1954 she married the love of her life, Garth H Vest. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple in 1964. For 65 years Barbara would kiss her loving husband Garth as he left for work and wave goodbye until he drove out of sight. She is now in Heaven waiting for him to live together forever.

Barbara is survived by Garth and their 6 children: Lynne Vest, Cindy (Brian) Howard, Billie (Wesley) Coates, Toni Wardle, Kurt (Donna) Vest, and Staci Vittetoe. She also left behind 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Kristie Bowcutt and her sisters-in-law: Linda Bowcutt, Rowdy Bowcutt, Betty Whitlock, and Lola Jensen.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: James Mac Bowcutt and Joseph H Bowcutt III; and brothers-in-law: Clair Whitlock and Harvey Jensen.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Mission at Community Rehab in Centerfield, Gunnison Valley Hospital, and Wade Anderson for their compassion and care. Also thanks to Denny's and Mom's Café for all their friendship and personal service.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mayfield Ward Chapel, where friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. or Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Mayfield Cemetery.
