Barbara Virginia Doty Patterson, 67, passed away March 22, 2013 in Richfield. She was born June 6, 1945 in Tacoma, Washington to Junius Frederick and Stella Williamson Doty. She married Gordon K Patterson, July 26, 1963 in Tacoma.
Barbara loved her children and grandchildren. She was a very giving and selfless person, who was always willing to help anyone. She had an amazing sense of humor and a quick wit. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Survived by: husband, Gordon of Richfield; children: Therese Hammill, Tacoma, WA; Gordy Patterson, Richfield; Roxanne (Randy) Griffith, Windsor, CT; Shawn (Tawnya) Patterson, Puyallup, WA; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; brother: Frederick (Marilyn) Doty, Auburn, WA.
Preceded in death by: parents; daughter, Trina Lynn Patterson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 11 th Ward Chapel, 900 South 400 West. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Magleby Mortuary and Tuesday from 9:30 -10:30 a.m at the ward chapel. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
