Barbara Poulson Palmer, 93, quietly passed away and graduated into Heaven October 19, 2012 in Huntington Beach, CA. Barbara was born April 16, 1919 to James Christian and Sarah Anna Poulson in Richfield, Utah.

Married to William James "Bill" Palmer in 1940 and moved to Temple City, Ca. in 1948. They kept themselves busy by raising three wonderful children: Barbara Ann (deceased), Randy and Glen, that produced nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren to date. He preceded her in death in 2002.

Laughter was her middle name and kindness not secondary to family and friends. Her sparkling blue eyes illuminated any room she entered, even in her last days.

Apple pie was her signature dish and a wholesome perky attitude was foremost in life.

She is also survived by her siblings: DeVon (Adelia) Poulson, AnnaLou (Wayne) Allen.

Also preceded in death by: parents; daughter, Barbara Ann (Jim) Swartzbaugh; grandson, William Swartzbaugh; siblings: Glen R. (Dot) Poulson, J. Rex (Myrle) Poulson, Celia Jane Nudall, Ila Buchanan, Kenneth D (Joyce) Poulson, James Bliss Poulson, Ione (Maurice) Morris, A. Lynn (Elva) Poulson, Grant (Ardell) Poulson, Ray Poulson, Una Velene Poulson

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
