Barbara Joean Hardman Hoagland

Barbara Joean Hardman Hoagland, 86, of Redmond, Utah passed away on June 22, 2023 surrounded by her family.
    Barb was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Margaret Hovermile Powell and Kenneth Powell Sr on July 16, 1963. She was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley. She married Stan Hardman on July 23, 1954, they spent 52 years together raising their son and grand daughters, camping, fishing and spending most of their free time in the beautiful mountains of Northern Utah.  
    Barb and Stan retired to Fruitland, Utah where they spent time until Stan passed in 2006.  Barb met Warren Hoagland, after a whirlwind romance they married February 6, 2013 in Richfield, Utah. Barbara and Warren have spent the last ten years exploring Central Utah, visiting with children and grandchildren, and working in their garden.
    Even while battling cancer for a second time, Barbara was full of sugar and spice and everything nice. She was loved by many and will be missed. 
    Barbara Joean Hardman Hoagland is preceded in death by Stan Hardman (husband), Scott Hardman (son), Margaret Horsley (mother), Kenneth Powell Sr (father).
    She is survived by Warren Hoagland (Redmond UT), Sam Hardman and Sheri (Aurora CO),Terence Hoagland (Fort Collins CO), Raquel Hoagland (Erie CO), Marylin Powell (San Diego), Tiffany Noorlander and Dave (Lehi UT), Tabitha Shurtleff and Tad (Las Vegas NV), Sam Hardman Jr and Carol (Aurora CO), Krystal Price and Fred (Aurora CO), Jennifer Jones (Spokane WA), step grand children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
    Cremation services have taken place and  Graveside services will be held at a later time.
