Audrie Arlene Peterson Jacobson, 80, passed away April 16, 2014 at her home in Richfield. She was born March 11, 1934 in Ephraim and raised by her loving parents, Axel and Alice Anderson Peterson. She married Donald C. Jacobson on November 30, 1952 in Logan. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple.

Audrie spent her early youth in Sanpete county and her family later moved to Logan where she met her husband. Don and Audrie have lived in New York City, Southern California, Germany, Colorado and finally back to Utah. They have traveled the world visiting 19 countries.

Audrie was involved in many ward, stake and community activities and held many leadership callings. She was known as a woman of many talents which included: gardening, cooking, quilting, singing and entertaining. She was also known for her sense of style, and her collection of shoes rivaled that of Emelda Marcos! Her husband called her his angel.

She is survived by her husband; children: Ann (Larry) Orr, Bakersfield, CA; Kyle (Kathy) Jacobson, Lakewood, CO; Machele (Gary) Gregory, Encinitas, CA; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, all in the Cache valley.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 2 nd Ward. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary and Saturday at the ward chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
