Arthur Thomas Roberts, 63, passed away December 9, 2019 in the comfort of his home in Gunnison. He was born December 15, 1955 in Grand Junction, CO to Arthur Lee and Margie Willa Rodgers Roberts. He attended Jackson High School and graduated from Independence High School in 1974. He married Shelley Sue Treloar on July 23, 1980 in Carson City, NV. They have been married 39 years.

Tom was known for riding his bike around town, running errands and waving at the cars as they passed. He enjoyed everyone and had to visit you if he saw you. He was great at fixing things using just duct tape and nails. He enjoyed playing dodge ball, basketball and setting up the swimming pool in the back for the boys to come swim in the summer. He loved to watch humming birds at the feeders he set up and everything Oakland Raiders.

He is survived by his wife, Shelley, of Gunnison; his children: Heather (Jonah) Christensen, Centerfield; Travis Roberts, Albuquerque, NM; Samantha (Justin) Johnson, Redmond; 6 grandchildren; siblings: Carol Parks, and Diana Campbell, both of Jackson, CA; Janette (Bob) Clements, Camden, MI. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Lester Parks, Jerry Campbell.

Graveside services and interment will be held Monday, December 16, 2019 at 12:00 Noon in the Gunnison City Cemetery.
