Arthor Wells Nielsen, 83, passed away August 19, 2018 in Beaver, Utah. He was born February 13, 1935 in Kingston, Utah where he grew up. He married Sharlene Duggins, they later divorced. He married Mary L. Steorts, she preceded him in death in 1985. He married Joeleen Ostler in 1986.

Art spent most of his life in and around Kingston. He was an avid sportsman who loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a woodsman, a miner and retired from the Piute County Road Department.

His passion was timber; logging as a young man to owning his own sawmill. He liked prospecting and even dabbled in boxing as a young man. He was a hard worker and always was willing to lend a hand.

He is survived by his wife, Joeleen; children: James Steorts, Debbie (Jim) Colby, Pat (Rhonda) Steorts, Greg Steorts, Joedie (Jim) Morwood, Scott (Bridget) Ostler, Sherrie Bradshaw; brother, Leslie (Lena) Nielsen. He is also survived by many grand and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, George and Ada Nielsen; brother, Emil; sister, Amy; daughter, Penny; son, Mark.
