Ardella Kyhl
Richfield, Utah
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Ardella H Kyhl passed away on September 26, 2012 at the age of 79, surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer. Ardella was born September 3, 1933 in Koosharem, Utah to Arden Willard and Donna Woolsey Hatch. She married the love of her life, Jack Kyhl on September 21, 1951 in the Manti Temple for time and all eternity. They were able to celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary before she passed. Jack and Ardella lived the majority of their married life in Richfield where their two children Jackie and Gary were born and raised.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the Lord and was firm in her faith and testimony. She served in many callings throughout her life, most recently as a loving primary teacher with her husband.
Ardella attended elementary school in Koosharem and graduated from Richfield High School. She worked many years for Richfield Commercial Bank and Mortensen Finance, and was Jack’s cornerstone in his construction business for over 50 years. She served in numerous public organizations, and so enjoyed serving as president of the DUP for several years.
Family was most important to her. She loved having the grandkids in her home. Mom will always be remembered for her famous chocolates and fun Christmas parties. She always wanted the family together.
Ardella is survived by husband Jack; children Jackie (Gordon) Anderson, Gary (Margaret) Kyhl,7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Darlene Lesonik.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Bernice LeMmon, grandson Gary J Kyhl, great-grandson Branson Call.
With never a complaint or a “Why Me” she showed us all how to live, laugh, love, and be a Christ-like example. We Love You Mom. God Be With You Till We Meet Again.
