Anthony John DeVries

    Anthony John DeVries, born February 16, 1974, in Salt Lake City, passed away unexpectedly February 27, 2024, at the age of 50 in Sterling. Anthony was the youngest child born to Kurt and Peta DeVries. In 1998, Anthony met and married Michelle Beck and together they had one son, later divorced. In 2016, Anthony met and married Haylie Owens and together they had three boys. 

    With many talents, Anthony loved working as a volunteer firefighter for the town of Sterling for many years and was a heavy duty mechanic at Kenworth in Salina. 

    Heaven has gained a wonderful, loving husband, father, son and brother. 

    He is survived by his wife, Haylie, Centerfield; his four sons: Dakota, S. Jordan; Mason, Jayden and Wyatt, Centerfield. His siblings: Robyne Anderson and Dominique Hamilton, Salt Lake City 

    He is preceded in death by his father and mother.
