Ann Alee “Annie” Spafford Gardner, 67, Richfield, passed away the morning of June 11, 2012, at Stonehenge Rehabilitation Center in Richfield, after a long and valiant fight with many illnesses.  She was courageous in her ongoing battle and fought her hardest to stay with us to be the best mom and grandma she could be.  Through all of her trials she never lost her sense of humor. She lost the battle and returned home to be with her son who passed so many years ago.
Ann Alee was born February 17, 1945, Richfield, to Willis Carl and Leila Anderson Spafford.  She was married to William T. Gardner, June 22, 1963, in the Manti LDS Temple, they later divorced.
Ann Alee worked many years at the Ford dealership in Richfield. She was a member of the LDS Church.  She spent her life being a great mother, grandmother, and friend.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and made it known to all that her children and grandchildren were her top priority.
Ann Alee is survived by her children: Kari (Michael) Carter, Richfield; and Corri (Ernie) Robinson, Hanksville; two boys she claimed as her own, Brayden (Kirby) Gardner, and Kayden Gardner, both Richfield; and grandchildren;  Zack, Jaden, and Braxton Carter; Whitney and Katelyn Robinson;  Shelby and Griffen Gardner.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to everyone at Stonehenge for their loving care of our mother during these past months.
