Beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, Angela Marie Nielson Rodrigues, 63, passed away April 30, 2017. She was born June 9, 1953 in Salt Lake City to Chuck and Sharlene Latch Weirick. Angie grew up in Salt Lake City with a large family she loved very much.

Angie married Lee Nielson, June 10, 1971, and together they had four children: Leisa (Wayne) Connelly, Tera (Rick) Brown, Stacey (Roy) Carlisle, and Joseph (Jayme) Nielson. She dedicated her life to her family and treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Angie was truly a selfless person who always put others first and felt happiest when she was helping those she loved. Outside of caring for her family, she was a committed and tireless worker who held positions in various industries. Angie loved her life and appreciated every moment she was given. She enjoyed reading, playing with her dog "Skeeter", relaxing with a Diet Coke, and getting together with family. Stubborn, hard-working, and truly loved, she will be greatly missed by everyone who was blessed enough to have her in their lives.

Angie is survived by her husband, Pete Rodrigues, four children, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother and siblings; Sharon, Karen, Dick, Troy and Josh. She was preceded in death by her father; sisters, Tonya and Charlotte; brothers, Chuck and Shannon.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m in the Manti Red Church. Friends may call on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and also prior to services on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Manti City Cemetery.
