Our beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend, Angel Luis Pereira Jr., 68, passed away on March 23, 2017 in Central Valley, Utah, in the arms of his "Honey" Ula. He was born February 23, 1949 in Puerto Rico to Angel Luis and Rafaela Trinidad Pereira. He married Ula Matheson, September 22, 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He loved sports. His support for the San Francisco 49ers was never wavering. He enjoyed cooking, hiking, fishing, and camping in the mountains. He was also known for his green thumb, his specialty was roses. He was a wonderful husband and father, a good friend and a great grandpa.
Angel is the father of Angel Luis Pereira III, New York; Angel Anthony Pereira Sr., New York; Heather Marie Pereira, Las Vegas; also Elizabeth Miah (deceased).
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Viewing will be at the Magleby Mortuary from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
