Ammon Richard Matthews, 14, passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2015 at his home in Mayfield. He was born June 28, 2000 in Lehi to Dennis and Cristine Covington Matthews.
He is survived by his parents; siblings: Camilla Peterson, Mary Putnam, Daniel Matthews, Heather Jessop, Andrew Matthews, Ashley Matthews, Nichole Matthews, Caleb Matthews, James Matthews, Emily Matthews and 35 other siblings; grandmother, Myrtle Evelyn Allred Covington.
Preceded in death by brother, Jeffery Matthews; grandparents: Dean Wayne Covington; Keith F. & Barbara C. Matthews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mayfield LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Mayfield Cemetery.
